The Depot Diner is located in a Historic Downtown Newport. It consists of Four distinctly different areas. The first area to open was the bufffet located at 308 Front St. This is the place to get Authentic Southern Comfort food at its finest. The cost is $8.00 plus tax, which includes all you can eat buffet plus a drink of your choice and our home made desserts. The buffet is open from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM every day except Saturday. The buffet room is quickly becoming the town museum. There are many old photos on the walls featuring people and places of Newport past.
The third area is the bar located just behind the Brickroom. It features a Copper colored tin ceiling and handbuilt bar that has to be seen to be appreciated. You can't help but touch the bar. The top is smooth and glass like in appearance. The 50" Plasma TV is the place to watch your favorite sporting event. Beer and wine is served. No Membership is required.
The fourth Area is the outside courtyard. It is reminicent of New Orleans or Beale street. There is a beautiful lighted fountain and Old parking meters on the tables. Weather permitting there is live entertainment on the courtyard. We also have a great patio heater for the comfort of our smokers during cool weather.
